  1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the AU Backlinks website and services, including backlink placements, website listing services, sponsorship-based placements, charity placements, and any related products provided by AU Backlinks Pty Ltd.

By accessing our website or purchasing services from AU Backlinks, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

 

  1. About Our Services

AU Backlinks acts as an intermediary between:

  • Website owners who wish to list their website for backlink placements, and
  • Digital agencies, marketing firms, and SEO professionals who wish to purchase backlink placements.

We facilitate article placements, link insertions, sponsor-linked placements with sports clubs and registered charities, and other promotional opportunities involving authorised third parties.

We do not own or control the websites where backlinks are placed.

 

  1. Website Listings

When submitting a website for listing on AU Backlinks, you confirm that:

  • You are the owner or an authorised representative of the domain.
  • You have the authority to approve content, links, sponsorship placements, or logos on the website.
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.

AU Backlinks reserves the right to accept, decline, or remove listings at its discretion.

 

  1. Backlink Placements

We will take all reasonable care to ensure:

  • The backlink placement is completed as described.
  • Content is written to a high standard.
  • Links are accurate, safe, relevant, and contextually appropriate.
  • The placement is completed within a reasonable timeframe.

However, because AU Backlinks does not own or control the websites where placements occur, we cannot guarantee:

  • The longevity of any placement beyond the minimum period specified.
  • The ranking impact of any backlink.
  • That website owners will not make changes to their sites, content, hosting, or business operations in the future.

Backlinks are placed in good faith. The digital environment is subject to change and links may be affected by updates, redesigns, ownership changes, hosting failures, or third-party decisions.

 

  1. Minimum Term Guarantee and Replacement Policy

All backlink placements purchased through AU Backlinks are intended to remain live for a minimum of 12 months.

If a purchased backlink is removed, altered, or becomes inactive within the first 12 months:

  • You may lodge a claim with our support team.
  • AU Backlinks will investigate the issue.
  • Where removal is confirmed, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement backlink of similar value on another eligible site.

This replacement policy is our sole obligation in relation to removed or shortened placements.

We do not offer refunds for early removals, website changes, domain expiries, or external events outside our control.

 

  1. Sponsorship-Based Backlinks (Sporting Clubs and Charities)

Some backlink placements are provided as part of a sponsorship arrangement with:

  • Registered sporting clubs, or
  • Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) registered charities.

These placements may include logos, paragraphs, shout-outs, article placements, or sponsor recognition pages.
The terms of each placement may vary depending on the organisation’s internal policies and digital capabilities.

Where a club or charity removes or significantly modifies a placement within 12 months, the same replacement policy described above applies.

AU Backlinks does not provide tax advice. Sponsoring parties are responsible for seeking their own financial or tax guidance where required.

 

  1. Content Standards

Content created or supplied through AU Backlinks must follow our Content and Article Placement Guidelines, including:

  • Human-written/Humanised content only
  • No plagiarism
  • Strong topical relevance
  • Clear accuracy and appropriate editorial standards
  • Compliance with Australian English
  • No harmful, illegal, or inappropriate material

We reserve the right to decline or revise content that does not meet our standards.

For domains where the site manager is the Author of the site their own site policies will determine the content of the article. If however you would like to suggest improvements/changes we will endeavour to assit with this process.

  1. Payment and Pricing

All prices displayed on the website or provided in proposals are in Australian dollars unless otherwise specified.

Payment must be made in full before work commences. Subscription-based models may auto-renew unless cancelled in advance.

Late or failed payments may result in placements being paused or removed.

 

  1. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • AU Backlinks provides an all care, no liability service.
  • We do not guarantee SEO performance, search rankings, or traffic outcomes.
  • We are not liable for changes made by website owners, search engines, hosting providers, or other third parties.
  • We are not responsible for loss of revenue, profits, data, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific backlink placement or service concerned.

 

  1. User Obligations

You agree not to use AU Backlinks services for:

  • Spam, illegal content, or harmful activities
  • Manipulative linking schemes
  • Automated content generation without disclosure
  • Any purpose that violates Australian law, privacy laws, or intellectual property rights

AU Backlinks may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these obligations.

 

  1. Third-Party Websites

Backlink placements occur on websites owned and operated by third parties.
AU Backlinks is not responsible for the content, security, uptime, or management of these websites.

 

  1. Privacy

All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described.

 

  1. Termination

AU Backlinks may refuse or discontinue services if:

  • False information is provided
  • Misuse or abuse of services occurs
  • Payment issues arise
  • Compliance standards are breached

Clients may terminate engagement at any time, noting that completed placements are non-refundable.

 

  1. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
